Fun, hands-on experiential business games

The Hub recently forged a strategic alliance with Team Business of Bethesda, Maryland, USA. Team Business offers modern, cutting edge, effective simulation-based games designed to train participants on how to compete, develop team management skills and become effective leaders. The games are highly interactive, engaging and can be completed in one day. No preparation is required. “An espresso shot of entrepreneurship” is how a reviewer from the Wharton School of Business described it.

Team business offers several business simulations

Simulation Outcome
Participants gain a common understanding of business essentials. They learn business skills and what it takes to make a business successful.
Participants get a view into how they and their peers behave in a "pressure-cooker" environment. It helps break down barriers and encourages co-operation.
Students will learn to make decisions that will result in bottom-line impact. Classic 10 is a "MBA in a Day". This program teaches 10 classic business theories and demonstrates how to use theory to structure your business decision making process.
In the Continuous Improvement Simulation, students will use basic financial tools to plan production activities, resource requirements, measure performance and benchmark against the competition. Participants get to observe the outcome of their business decisions, thereby acquiring an understanding of causality, the relationship between decisions made and outcomes realized.
